Our Mission
The Huntingtown Optimist Club brings community members together to support our youth, serve others, and strengthen the spirit of Huntingtown, Maryland and Calvert County, Maryland. Through volunteer service, partnerships, and youth programs—including Scouts BSA Troop 903 and Venturing Crew 903—we work to make a positive impact on the next generation.
Our History
Founded in 2023, the Huntingtown Optimist Club is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of belonging, service, and unity within the community. Our mission is to bring people together to support youth development, encourage community involvement, and create opportunities that make Huntingtown, Maryland and the surrounding Calvert County, Maryland area an even better place to live and grow.
